For six years, be-good delivered WPP’s presence at Cannes Lions, creating a distinctive beach environment where the company could bring together its global clients, partners and leaders during one of the biggest weeks in marketing.
A year of design and production culminated in a two-week build, creating an adaptable brand platform that supported more than 40 events across Cannes.
The Brief
WPP needed a space that could make a confident brand statement while working hard throughout the festival.
It had to accommodate thought leadership, interactive demonstrations, workshops, live performances, premium hospitality and VIP client dinners, while providing senior audiences with valuable space to meet and connect.
be-good managed the programme across design, production, logistics, content, activations, security and hospitality.
Our Thinking
We designed a platform rather than a fixed event space.
Steel art installations created a distinctive visual identity, large-format LEDs transformed around different content formats, and agile hospitality spaces allowed the venue to move between large gatherings and more intimate conversations.
Interactive experiences and participatory content helped create reasons for people to stay, engage and return throughout the programme.
The Outcome
Across more than 40 events, WPP’s Cannes presence generated over 7,000 interactions with its target audience and created a premium meeting place for its global client community.
The combination of striking design, high-quality production and flexible hospitality gave WPP a confident presence during Cannes Lions while creating the thing that mattered most: a space where valuable conversations and relationships could happen.
“None of this would be possible without be-good. The quality of their design and standard of technical production is remarkable. But the thing that never fails to impress me is their collaborative, low ego approach. It is a pleasure and a joy to work with them. We very much depend on them for the success of our events. Hire them!”
